I have to say that I was disappointed in last night's Paley Festival. First was Wentworth's absence. Then Bill Fitchener didn't show either- the line was that they were filming in Dallas. Because the Paley Festival was sprung on them at the last minute, you know. </snark>
Then Dominic Purcell acted as though he totally didn't want to be there. Dude, you are an actor- that you're having a good time. He was not very gracious during the autograph/photo session afterward. Just seemed jerky. Okay, he might have been tired or whatever... but, dude, you're an actor.
That being said, Amaury Nolasco (Sucre) couldn't have been sweeter about taking photos and signing tons of autographs. I got his and was waiting for Purcell and stood in front of Amaury for about 10 minutes. I finally said, "I've definitely got the best seat in the house." He laughed and winked at me. Wade Williams (Bellick) was the nicest. He indulged everyone and was totally cool about the stampede. I got a picture with him and then surged over to Robert Knepper (T-Bag.) He actually asked my name when I gave him my moleskine for his autograph. I got a picture with him too- he smelled as though he'd been hitting the hard liquor... he was a popular guy!
My friend Kerry was not familiar with how to navigate the crush of people so she got swept to the back. Much to her happiness, we tracked down T-Bag at the bathroom and she got a shot with him. (And the snotty, full-of-himself security guard.)
I didn't get Rockmond Dunbar (C-Note) or Sarah Wayne Callies though (Sara Tancready.) It was either Purcell or them, and I definitely made the wrong choice. I never made it to Purcell.
Enjoy the photos! Some of them are from Wire Image (the good ones...) One of the wire image photos has me in it. I totally saw him taking the picture and hammed it up for the camera.
