Today was the drive home. Decided to make it a whatever kind of day- leave whenever, stop whenever, end up at home whenever.
We got up sevenish and had breakfast- left over blueberry pancakes for the boy & mom and I had oatmeal. We went for a walk over by the Distillery to look at the collapse of all the land, roads, and yards. It's going quickly. It was gorgeous, but cold and windy.
I packed and got the stuff to the car, then we pulled around to the back and picked up a nice rug for our living room that mom wanted to get rid of... we left at 10:30.
First stop was in Gilroy for lunch at El Pollo Loco. Next stop was somewhere just after San Luis Reservoir for gas. Next was north of Grapevine. Then we stopped somewhere else. Obama was on the Westside, so we expected tons of traffic through the valley and home, but nothing! We flew home and arrived just when the GPS said we would. Even with all the stops.
Unpacked and rested up. Then we headed to UCLA for the vs. USC lacrosse game. UCLA won! Yay. Still disturbed about the change in the 8 clap. Hurmpfh.

Headed home and were going to stop at In and Out, but the line was too long. It was almost eleven by the time we got home. Tired.
