I woke up this morning aching to my little toes, so I decided to stay home from faire and just relax. Cam had a 1:00 LAX game so Jeff took him early. The other team forfeited due to lack of players, so the kids just mixed the squads and some older brothers played and they had a scrimmage. They still lost. Oh well- bad shooting today vs. lack of defense. Cam did a great job and held them to 8 goals. Even Jeff says he's pretty good, and he's a hard sell.
Cam and I came home to rest up for the movies while Jeff officiated 4 games. Thor. It was enjoyable- nothing really spectacular (other than Chris Hemsworth's abs) to set it apart from all the other comic book movies that are out these days. They did have a funny line about Renaissance faires. Cam was over the moon about the trailer for Captain America.
We left to go to the grocery store for a quickie marketing that still set us back $100. Dinner was a quickie ready roast chicken, potato salad, beans, and a roll. I cut up a cucumber for the something (marginally) green.
Jeff and I are watching Game of Thrones and it's interesting. It's that Renaissance faire feel.
Here I am with one of my babies!
